What We Accept


We accept ladies upscale clothing, purses, shoes, boots, belts, scarves, perfume and jewelry

Items must be in like new condition

Considered items MUST be freshly dry cleaned or well laundered

(Odor free, wrinkle free, brought in on hangers)

Items must be currently in style AND in season

We accept women's sizes 0 - 3X

Owner will make the final decisions on whether or not the Klothes Kloset will accept any item.

If a problem is found with an item after it has reached the sales floor, it will be
automatically discarded and designated as “Quality Rejected” in the computer file.

 

Consignment Drop Off Process
 

First time consignors must schedule an appointment & may bring in up to 25 items

Returning members may use our “Drop & Run” system for up to 12 items

”Drop & Run” hours are Tuesday through Friday 11 AM to 5 PM

We do not accept items on Saturday
(All consigners are required to sign a seasonal agreement and pay the seasonal membership)

Consignment Terms
 

Checks are mailed around the 5th of the next month for all consignors who have more than $20.00
total owed.  There will be a $1.00 processing fee for each check.
 

Consignment Period = 60 days
If you want any items back that do not sell by 60th day it is your responsibility to personally locate,
claim, & bring to the counter the unsold items. We will remove bar code tags & hangers.  Items not
picked up, automatically become the property of the Klothes Kloset on day 60 and we reserve the right
to either sell these items or donate them to charity.
 

Consignor Percentage = 50% of Consigned Selling Price (Remember that items may be discounted) 

A buyer’s fee (approximately 10% of the consignment price) will be charged to the buyer of your clothing. 
This fee is not included in your 50/50 portion of the sale.  This fee is added to the price of the garment
for our processing your clothing, changing hangers, logging your clothes into our computer, tagging your
garment, placing it on our sales floor and then selling and marketing your garments to our customers.

We will do our best to safeguard your items, but we are not responsible for damage, depreciation or
loss due to fire, flood, smoke, theft etc. of any article.
